Have you ever heard someone say, "I had an Aha Moment"? It happens all the time, especially at training events, church services, conventions, etc. Let's examine this "moment", shall we?
An "Aha Moment" is defined as a moment of sudden realization, inspiration, insight, recognition or comprehension. It typically makes you want to make make a change for the better. It's a moment of clarity if you will. But here's the problem with the "Aha Moment" - it's just a moment!!! And a moment is an indefinitely short period of time. So when that moment fades, we tend to go back to our old habits, relying on what's comfortable...
Let's start an "Aha Movement' instead. A movement is continuous, it remains in motion - it doesn't stop! In this business, we have to keep moving. We have to stay consistent. We have to be persistent. So when we become inspired, we must challenge ourselves to turn that moment into a movement. We do this by staying committed and connected, despite the odds that pile up against us. We do this by making a pledge to evolve. Always remember, the great aspire to be greater!
