Finish Strong (Elevate Your Grind)

It's been argued that it's not how you start, it's how you finish. What we're starting and finishing is a race. Yes, this can be a literal or a figurative race. In our case, the race is real estate. With this in mind, we can apply the notion that the race is not given to the swift or to the strong, but to the one who endures until the end! Translation - DON'T QUIT!

If you were on our Success Call this morning, you heard Koy talking about the power of finishing strong. In order to finish anything, you cannot quit! Period! So what if you had a slow start in real estate. So what if you've gone 6 months without closing a deal. So what if everyone on your team quit. So what!!! We're closing out 2015 and this year has been full of both triumphs and defeats BUT, in these next 59 days (yes, there are only 59 days left in 2015), it's time to dig deep and finish strong. The renowned motivational speaker Eric Thomas says that often times, our dreams are big but the grind is small. Wouldn't it make more sense to make the dream a bit smaller and elevate the grind instead?

Here's the challenge: Focus on an area of your real estate business and elevate the grind! If you've never cold called for a listing a day in your career, start tomorrow. If you've never solicited business from your Facebook friends, do it tonight! If you don't have any sponsors in the Exit system, invite an agent who you've closed a transaction with out to coffee and share the Exit story. What always ends up happening is that everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die to get there! It's time to finish strong!
