Naughty Or Nice
Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, it's very likely that you've heard stories about Santa and making Christmas wish lists. In order for Santa to give you the items on your Christmas list, he reflects on the year to determine whether you've been naughty or nice. If you've been nice, you'll likely get everything on your list, but if you've been naughty, well that's a different story!
So, let's reflect on our behavior in 2015. Have you been naughty or nice to your business? Have you dedicated time to prospecting on a regular basis, resulting in qualified leads and closed transactions (NICE)? Or have you signed up for trainings and classes and opted out of doing the assignments and projects that your instructors required (NAUGHTY)? Have you attended the sales meetings and stayed on top of industry trends so that you are a subject matter expert to your clients (NICE)? Or have you been absent from Training Tuesday classes because you don't feel like driving to Lanham (NAUGHTY)? Have you stayed in touch with your clients post settlement, perhaps sending them a $5 Starbucks gift card just because (NICE)? Or did you leave settlement with your commission and never reach out to them again (NAUGHTY)? Have you been naughty or nice to your business?
Real estate will give you everything on your wish list if you're nice to your business throughout the year. You have to work hard and earn the items on your list because Santa won't give them to you if you don't deserve it! The good news is that if you were naughty in 2015, you can turn it around and be nice in 2016.
