GIVING BACK

We know that it's better to give than to receive. But for some strange reason, we tend to hold our hands out, ready to receive a gift or money or a compliment far more often than we open up our wallets or our homes or our resources to give unto others. Why is that? Is it because of the instant gratification? Is it because we elevate ourselves to a posture of superiority? Do we think too highly of ourselves? Are we expecting others to edify us in ways that we fail to edify others?

Confidence is a beautiful thing. We were all fearfully and wonderfully made and should expect to live a life of abundance. But we can't find ourselves on the receiving end of abundance until we purpose ourselves to give and to serve. You see, when you give - especially when you give with sincerity, not expecting anything in return - you open up the floodgates of reciprocity. It comes back to you!!!

In Sherese Seevers' life outside of real estate, she owns a catering company. She & her partner always "throw in" something that their clients didn't expect. As a result, the clients are "wowed" and they always get referrals. In fact, from every event that they cater, at least one of the guests books our services for a future event. That's a blessing! I say all of that not to impress you, but to impress upon you that the blessing, the breakthrough, the reward, the promise, the commission is all in the giving! 

Sometimes, you may have to throw in a home warranty or waive an admin fee or possibly reduce your commission to keep the deal together. So what! For every client that you "lose" $500.00 on, there's another 3 clients waiting in the wings that will bring you another $5000.00! Don't get me wrong, there's value in the service that we provide and we never want to make a habit of shortchanging ourselves. I just want you to understand that giving always comes back to you in the most rewarding ways.
